Tax Planning and Income Tax Preparation Services

At George & Company, we provide our clients with personalized service so that they can maximize their financial status. We are a full service provider of tax services for Individuals, Trusts, Estates, Corporations, Partnerships, S-Corporations, Limited Liability Companies, Not for Profits and Tax Exempt entities. 

Our primary responsibility is to see that our tax clients comply with state and federal filing requirements. No one wants an IRS notice or an IRS audit. Statutory tax laws are enforced and interpreted by the IRS and taxpayers. The court system settles matters when there is a disagreement between the IRS and the taxpayer. To administer tax law, we consider all the facts and proceed with a precise interpretation. If there is substantial risk that the IRS will not agree, but the courts reject IRS interpretation, we present the facts for the client to decide based on their own risk tolerance. Under no conditions will we participate in an unsustainable position.  

Financial Statements

Assurance and Advisory Services

A complete range of accounting and audit services are offered. These services include preparation of financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for use by investors, banks, and other third parties. These statements include: Audits, Reviews and Compilations. 

We also prepare custom financial statements for internal, managerial use that can help business owners and managers maximize their full profit potential. Other services include: financial and business forecasts and projections, cash flow and budgeting analysis, and income tax basis financials for tax planning.

Since 1999, George and Company has contracted with Frank Campos, CPA to provide financial statement services. His wholly owned company, Frank Campos, CPA, PLLC is well established in Palestine and the Anderson County area.

Accounting

Bookkeeping/Payroll Tax

Our  bookkeeping services include all accounting services that a small business owner requires, such as: recording transactions, payroll processing, bank reconciliations, and payroll tax report preparation. 

We are experienced in setting up a bookkeeping and accounting systems (QuickBooks), including formatting reports and personnel training.
